Herm Sprenger Adjustable Ultrasonic Whistle Brass Nickel Plated

The ultrasonic whistle is made of brass and nickel plated. Also known as the 'silent' dog whistle as for most people the sound is little more than a rush of air, however the high pitch of the whistle makes it noticeable to dogs and can be effective on ranges up to 400 meters. The pitch can be varied to a level the dog is most responsive to through an adjusting screw in the back of the whistle, a locking nut fixes the adjusting screw in place and allows the pitch to be fixed. The ultrasonic whistle has a plastic outer sheath to protect the pitch adjustment and prevent accidental variances.
