Prong collar plastic cover caps are an ideal accessory to safely introduce your dog to the benefits of a prong collar by increasing the surface area in contact with the neck, offering additional comfort. They remove the potential to mark the fur of light coloured dogs, and protect the coat of short haired breeds. Covering caps are easily fitted and replaced, both dog friendly and superbly functional. The covering caps also help give the collar a slightly 'softer' look in training and public walking areas.

Plastic prong covering caps are packaged in sets of 20 and avaibable in sizes which will cover all the prongs on a standard 3.0mm and 3.2mm gauge or 4.0mm gauge prong collar.

An essential addition to our accessory range is the Herm Sprenger nylon prong collar cover, a sturdy yet light woven nylon suitable for all weather conditions. The nylon prong collar cover offers additional protection to your prong collar finish by shielding it from water and dirt.The nylon cover also offers discretion by concealing the prong collar making it look similar to a conventional flat collar and reducing the sound of the chain beneath. It's very simple to both fit and remove, the nylon cover is secured by several velcro tabs that fasten around the links of your prong collar.

The nylon prong collar cover is available in three sizes to fit the following Herm Sprenger collar gauges and sizes:

Micro size: 27cm x 2cm / 11 inches x 0.75 inch to fit 2.25mm gauge.
Standard size: 38cm x 2.5cm / 15 inches x 1 inch to fit 3.0mm and 3.2mm gauge.
